A range of business meetings and other events will take place during the Congress or in the week before or after the Congress. These meetings and events will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (the main Congress venue), or at other venues in the hotels and institutions nearby.
The associated meetings and events are categorized into four types: academic meetings, organization working meetings, new products or service announcements, and social events. The duration of each meeting/event may last from one hour (at lunch time) to three hours (in the evening) during the Congress; events and meetings occupying a full day or more may be held before or after the Congress.
The organizers will help to arrange the meeting rooms and related services, each with different costs, depending on the category of the meeting/event, the request of the venue/hotel and the number of attendees. The organizing committee will subsidize some of the associated meetings and events based on an assessment by the organizers and on a 'first come, first served' basis.
