Oral Presentation Abstract Submission Deadline
Extended
|
The
deadline for submitting Oral Presentation Abstracts is now
January 15, 2017.
The
original oral presentation abstract submission deadline was set
on November 15, 2016. We have received many messages with
concerns over the short duration for abstract submission for
oral presentations. In particular, we have recently received
many inquiries requesting possible extension of the deadline
for oral presentation abstract submission. Therefore, the IBC
Organizing Committee has decided to
extend the deadline of the abstract submission for oral
presentations to January 15, 2017.
Please see the website for more details.

2017 Awards Opportunity
|
The
Organizing Committee of IBC 2017 has decided to establish the
IBC2017 Awards program to encourage and assist excellent
scientists and students to be actively involved in IBC 2017.
The Awards include the Outstanding Student Award
that
supports selected undergraduate and graduate students and
postdoctoral fellows and the Excellent
Scholar Award
that supports selected scientists, with preferences of young
scientists and those from developing countries. For both
awards, full or partial stipends (for travel, hotel
accommodations, and congress registration, etc.) are available
for eligible attendees who will give an oral presentation in a

Call for Additional Meeting and Event Proposals
|
Do You Have an Idea
For an Additional Meeting or Event at IBC 2017?
A
range of business meetings and other events will take place
during the Congress or in the week before or after the Congress.
The associated meetings and events are categorized into four
types: academic meetings, organization working meetings, new
products or service announcements, and social events. The
duration of each meeting/event may last from one hour (at lunch
time) to three hours (in the evening) during the Congress; events
and meetings occupying a full day or more may be held before or
after the Congress. The organizing committee will subsidize some
of the associated meetings and events based on an assessment by
the organizers and on a 'first come, first served' basis.
All
professionals in the plant sciences community are welcome to
submit an additional meeting or event proposal.
